2. Services We Provide

We act as a facilitator between you (the customer) and domestic helpers (maids, cooks, babysitters, etc.) by:

Matching your needs with available workers.

Providing support before and during the service.

Offering part-time, full-time, and one-time service options.

We do not employ the maids directly unless explicitly stated.

3. Bookings and Cancellations

Booking Process:

You can request services via our website, WhatsApp, or phone.

We confirm availability and schedule based on your requirements.

Cancellations:

You may cancel or reschedule a service with prior notice (ideally 24 hours in advance).

Late cancellations may attract a minimal fee to compensate the worker’s time.

4. Payments and Charges

Prices are shared transparently before the service begins.

Payment can be made via cash, bank transfer, UPI, or online gateway.

Any advance amount paid is adjusted against service or refunded as per our Refund Policy.

In long-term contracts (monthly), payments must be made on time to avoid service interruptions.

5. Customer Responsibilities

7. Breakage, Theft, or Damages

We are not legally liable for personal losses unless proven with evidence.

Police assistance may be sought where required.

We strongly recommend securing valuables and monitoring sensitive areas during service.

8. Refunds and Replacements

Replacement of maids if the assigned person is unsuitable or leaves during the agreement period.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Nihar Maid Consultancy LLP, we value your time and trust. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy is designed to ensure fairness and clarity for both customers and service providers (maids). Please read it carefully before booking our services.

1. Cancellation by Customer

We understand that plans can change. You can cancel or reschedule a service by giving us advance notice.

a. One-Time or Trial Services

Free cancellation if done at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.

If canceled within 24 hours, a small cancellation fee may be charged (usually to compensate the maid’s travel time or reserved slot).

b. Monthly or Long-Term Bookings

You can cancel before the contract/service period starts and request a refund of any advance paid (excluding registration fees if any).

If canceled after the service begins, a pro-rata refund may be issued after deducting:
• Days already serviced
• Service or administrative charges (if applicable)
• Registration or background check fees (non-refundable)

2. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a service in case of:

Maid unavailability due to emergency or health issues

Customer misconduct or unsafe working conditions

Force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.)

In such cases:

We will either reschedule the service promptly

Or issue a refund for the unused portion of the service

3. Refund Policy

We strive for complete satisfaction. You may request a refund in the following cases:

a. Maid Doesn’t Show Up or Leaves Early

If a maid fails to report or leaves without valid reason in the early stage, we will:

Offer a replacement or

Provide a full/partial refund (depending on usage)

b. Unsatisfactory Service

If you're genuinely unhappy after the first few days and we are unable to provide a suitable replacement, you may request a partial refund.

c. Overpayment or Double Payment

Any accidental overpayments will be refunded promptly once verified. Note: Refunds are processed only after a brief verification process to avoid misuse of our policy.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following charges are non-refundable:

One-time registration or onboarding fees (if applicable)

Background verification or documentation fees

Services already availed

Fees for any third-party services engaged on your behalf

5. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days via:
